#SaveGolfoDulce was created by people with a deep personal connection to the Golfo Dulce and a shared commitment to protecting one of Costa Rica’s most extraordinary natural environments.

Some of us have lived in this region for much of our lives. Others contribute experience in conservation, research, environmental management and international cooperation.

What connects us is a simple conviction: the extraordinary biodiversity of the Golfo Dulce deserves active, long-term protection.

 

We see both the beauty of this ecosystem and the pressures it faces. Our response is not simply to point out problems. We want to help create practical solutions.

Through conservation projects, scientific research and monitoring, environmental education, volunteer programs and cooperation with local communities, institutions and other organizations, we aim to contribute where our work can make a real difference.

 

Our approach is independent, evidence-based and focused on long-term impact. We believe that protecting the Golfo Dulce requires cooperation between people who live here, scientists, conservation organizations, responsible businesses and everyone who values this remarkable ecosystem.

 

#SaveGolfoDulce is an initiative of TerraVita Solutions e.V., a registered German non-profit association recognized by the German tax authorities as serving charitable purposes. TerraVita provides the legal and organizational framework for our conservation, research, education and community activities.
