Long-term conservation only works when local communities are respected, included and supported.
Protecting Golfo Dulce cannot happen from the outside alone.
The people who live around the gulf know the land, the water, the seasons and the pressures better than anyone else. Fishers, guides, families, researchers, conservationists and small local businesses all have a role to play.
Real protection must combine science, local knowledge and fair economic opportunities.
Golfo Dulce does not need empty promises. It needs practical cooperation, transparent action and long-term commitment.
